This comprehensive guide will walk you through everything you need to know about granite worktops, from the types of granite to installation, maintenance, and more.

What Makes Granite a Popular Choice?

Granite is an igneous rock formed under intense heat and pressure deep within the Earth’s crust. Over millions of years, it solidifies into a crystalline structure that gives it unmatched strength and a unique aesthetic.

Why do homeowners love granite?

Because no two slabs are exactly alike, making every installation one-of-a-kind. It’s also to mention homeowners love granite because it is highly resistant to heat, scratches, and stains (when sealed properly it can last for decades with proper care.) A granite worktop is a sign of quality and elegance in real estate markets.

Granite’s natural origin means it carries unique mineral flecks, veins, and hues. These features not only make it beautiful but also ensure it integrates seamlessly into almost any kitchen or bathroom theme.

Look at several slabs before choosing.

Make sure to inspect the actual granite slab before purchasing. Like other natural stone, granite is rarely consistent in colour and design, you you must be sure you can accommodate any changes in colour and patina across the slab. Before sealing the deal, look at a couple of similarly coloured slabs to find the one that perfectly matches your ideal decor.

Once you have your slab it will be reserved for you & transported to our fabrication warehouse, once the template has been signed off the Slab will go into production & become your worktops & islands.
